Dave has been in the legal plan industry for over 20 years and has served many roles throughout his career. He is a Partner in The Legal Plan Consultants, LLC, a startup which provides administrative and consultative services for legal plans operating in the United States.
Prior to that Dave was employed by Hyatt Legal Plans (now known as MetLife Legal Plans) in numerous roles during his 22 years with the organization. He started as a Client Service Supervisor, managing the contact and call center service team of 50 service representatives, and was responsible for all functions of the service center including hiring, managing and overall performance. He transitioned into Account Management for National Account Administration and was responsible for overall account relationship management representing $10 million in annual revenue.
The majority of his experience with the company was involved in the Sales and Marketing organization. He was instrumental as an Account Executive, selling direct and with his MetLife partners to Fortune 500® accounts. His next role was new business development outside traditional employer group legal plans, where he developed legal programs and new markets achieving millions in new revenue streams. He was promoted to Marketing and Business Development Manager and became a member of the Senior Leadership Team as Director of Marketing & Sales Support.
He managed the sales support teams representing tens of millions in sales annually, while managing a marketing team responsible for all sales communication materials and a client facing website. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, he was responsible for input on the strategic direction and growth plans of the organization reporting to the CEO.
